Electronic Art announces launch of Sterling Cut Glass online store
CINCINNATI — Electronic Art (www.electronicart.com), a full-service Internet services company that specializes in the development of high-end Web-based applications, announces the launch of the newly redesigned website for Sterling Cut Glass—www.sterlingcutglass.com.
Originally located in Mt. Adams and now based in Erlanger, Kentucky, Sterling Cut Glass continues its 103-year-long legacy of enhancing the beauty of fine crystal with custom etching and hand cutting. Sterling Cut Glass manufactures fine crystal and glassware for its retail store, website, fine specialty retailers, golf and country clubs, resorts, and distributors of custom-etched crystal.
According to Mike Dyas, owner of Sterling Cut Glass, Sterling’s website redesign is an effort to create a consistent look and feel with the company’s signature retail store, now located at Kenwood Towne Centre, and to update the store’s technology infrastructure to better serve its customers online. “The website has always provided online sales,” Dyas said, “but had previously utilized a Yahoo! storefront for its product sales. That prevented us from displaying a full catalog of products, and also created extra labor to re-enter sales data from the Yahoo! system into our point of sale system. The new website pulls its product data directly from the point of sale system, managed by Martin and Associates, and allows for all of its product offerings to be made available for online sales. There are over 200 new items available online that were not available previously.”

Also available on the new website is an enhanced bridal registry system and an enhanced monogramming system to allow visitors to customize the etching on specialty items. By developing an elegant new website that is integrated with Sterling’s existing sales and inventory control system, Electronic Art was able to help Sterling continue its legacy of quality and leading-edge technology.
