Electronic Art’s Easy Ship™ Kiosk travels to Columbus with Re-integration of Football exhibit

CINCINNATI—The specially designed interactive kiosk that Electronic Art (www.electronicart.com) developed to help tell the powerful story of the re-integration of football at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in September has traveled with the Re-integration exhibit to Columbus for a two-month stay at the Statehouse.  The exhibit, which opened yesterday and runs through February 28th, tells the story of Bill Willis, Paul Brown and Marion Motley, and how they changed a sport and a nation by working together to reintegrate football.

Electronic Art, a full-service computer kiosk company that specializes in custom kiosk software development and hardware, developed interactive kiosk software to allow exhibit guests to watch a video story of how history was changed.  Electronic Art provided its newly launched Easy Ship™ kiosk, which has touch screen capabilities, allowing guests to interact with the video.

The Easy Ship™ Kiosk is a computer kiosk stand or enclosure that is modular, easy to break down into separate pieces, and ships via standard shipping methods. The kiosk stand has optional components, such as a USB 84-key keyboard / trackpad, printer arm, and signage front panel. The computer Electronic Art uses most often on this stand is the IBM Anyplace unit. Electronic Art has custom designed the Easy Ship™ kiosk with its rental customers in mind, who often need kiosks to be shipped to a tradeshow or event.  Many other computer kiosks must be palletized and freight shipped, which increases cost and makes handling more difficult. The Easy Ship™ kiosk can be boxed and sent via carriers, such as UPS, for far less money, and can be more easily handled since it is in multiple smaller boxes.
