American Express seminar uses kiosks to enable speedier check-in

CINCINNATI — Electronic Art (www.electronicart.com), a full-service Internet services company specializing in computer kiosks and high-end Web-based software development, along with American Express, is sponsoring this year's Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Association (GCRA) Customer Service Seminar Learn Secret Service Systems, conducted by nationally recognized customer service expert John DiJulius.  The event takes place Monday, August 28 at the Montgomery Inn Banquet Center starting at noon.  As a sponsor, Electronic Art will provide event check-in kiosks, where guests will be able to check into the event using a paperless process, and organizers can collect attendee data directly into a database.
The kiosks provided by Electronic Art will provide the GCRA with updated information on attendees for future marketing opportunities of upcoming events and future seminars.  And, the kiosks are branded with information about the GCRA and American Express.  Attendees can learn about the new American Express promotion My Life Card (http://www.mylifemycard.com) and upcoming GCRA events at any of the kiosks.
The kiosks will allow guests who pre-registered for the event to look up their information and check in. This will allow registrants to check themselves into the event without waiting at the ticket line.  Guests who sign in at the kiosks will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a $50 gift certificate to one of several local upscale restaurants.
Electronic Art offers a unique service in leasing and selling kiosk hardware for short- and long-term events.  Full service is available to provide software, video, event hardware management, data analysis and interactive services.
