CINCINNATI—Electronic Art (www.electronicart.com), a full-service Internet services company specializing in computer kiosks and high-end Web-based software development, will be showcasing their exclusive new product, the Easy Ship™ Kiosk, at the Self-Service and Kiosk Show (www.selfservice.org) in San Antonio, TX on September 28th. Electronic Art is an IBM business partner and will be part of the IBM exhibition booth at the show, which is one of the largest self-service and kiosk shows in the country.
The Easy Ship™ Kiosk is a computer kiosk stand or enclosure that is modular, easy to break down into separate pieces, and ships via standard shipping methods. The kiosk stand has optional components, such as a USB 84-key keyboard / trackpad, printer arm, and signage front panel. The computer Electronic Art uses most often on this stand is the IBM Anyplace unit. They have custom designed the Easy Ship™ kiosk with their rental customers in mind, who often need kiosks to be shipped to a tradeshow or event. Many other computer kiosks must be palletized and freight shipped, which increases cost and makes handling more difficult. The Easy Ship™ kiosk can be boxed and sent via carriers such as UPS for far less money, and can be more easily handled since it is in multiple smaller boxes.
Electronic Art provides kiosk hardware sales and leasing for clients such as Sanofi-Aventis, The Circuit, GlaxoSmithKline, and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. One of only a handful of companies in the country that lease kiosk equipment, Electronic Art is unique in that they also provide custom software development to integrate with the kiosk hardware and the customer's overall brand strategies. Most kiosk hardware providers do not directly offer software development. Electronic Art also provides a full-service solution, including software, shipping to the event, maintenance during the event and post event data analysis. The customer never has to devote resources to the kiosk initiatives during their event.
The Freedom Center has utilized Electronic Art's Easy Ship™ kiosks and custom applications in several of its special exhibits. Said John Pepper Jr., CEO of the Freedom Center, "We have received very positive feedback regarding the kiosks and their effectiveness from our guests, and we found the applications extremely helpful in delivering on our mission."
Electronic Art is excited for the opportunity to showcase the Easy Ship™ kiosk as a featured part of the IBM booth. "As a trusted business partner for innovative hardware and custom software applications, we're looking forward to showing IBM, their customers, and other big players in the industry what we have to offer, " says owner Tim Burke.
Electronic Art offers a unique service in leasing kiosk hardware for short- and long-term events. Full service is available to provide software, video, event hardware management, data analysis and interactive services.
