Electronic Art
designs website for developer of premium downtown Cincinnati apartments
CINCINNATI—Middle
Earth Developers (MED), a developer and
manager of market-rate residential and mixed-use downtown real estate, launched
its first Internet site (www.medevelopers.com) in early July.
The
new website, designed by Electronic Art LLC (www.electronicart.com), a Cincinnati-based custom
website design and programming firm, represents MED’s first attempt at online
marketing. While the company has successfully designed and marketed premium
residential space in the downtown Cincinnati market since 1992, MED realized
creating an Internet presence was a natural evolution of its overall marketing strategy.
“The reason we thought a
website was important,” says Glenn Kukla, principal and project manager for
MED, “was because our target market is urban dwellers—people wanting to live
downtown. Those people are typically more Web savvy and more likely to use the
Internet as a tool to search for a loft apartment to rent or a condominium to
buy.”
Tim
Burke, president of Electronic Art LLC, says the website accomplishes several
key objectives for MED. “Most importantly, MED now has a Web presence that
supports the quality work they’ve been doing for the past 11 years. The company
can also place the website in its classified ads to provide more information to
prospective renters without listing every amenity about every type of dwelling.
And finally, potential condo buyers can log onto the website to see the many
choices available to them. MED sees the value in using the Web as a tool for
building strong relationships with its customers.”
Electronic
Art also hosts MED’s website and e-mail platform. Electronic Art partnered with
Urban Wilderness Design to design the website and related printed material.
